West Bromwich Albion suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Premier League side.

Hal Robson-Kanu’s performance for West Bromwich Albion against Brighton on Wednesday has prompted a strong reaction from neutral fans on Twitter.
Robson-Kanu continued his recent run of games in West Brom’s first eleven, but saw his side beaten 3-1 in front of the BBC cameras, after extra-time.
The Wales forward almost put the Baggies ahead with a spectacular volley, which cannoned off the Brighton crossbar.
But his evening ended on a sour note, after he was forced off in the 99th minute with the score 1-1.

It left West Brom a man light for the final 21, having used all of their permitted substitutions. And the Premier League side took full advantage, scoring twice through Glenn Murray.
This was the response to Robson-Kanu’s showing…
Robson-Kanu moved to West Brom from Reading in August 2016, shortly after he impressed for Wales at the European Championship in France.
The 29-year-old still has 18 months left on his contract with the Baggies.
