The Newcastle United midfielder is enjoying a productive 2019.

Several neutral fans were impressed with Sean Longstaff’s display for Newcastle United at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Longstaff has not looked back since breaking into Rafa Benitez’s first team plans around the turn of the year, becoming an integral part of the Magpies’ starting XI.
But while those of a Newcastle persuasion are already aware of the academy product’s ability, others are only just beginning to notice.
This is what some of those are saying about Longstaff’s latest display, which ended in a 1-1 draw thanks to Wily Boly’s stoppage-time header, which cancelled out Isaac Hayden’s opener at Molineux.
Newcastle need not fear any interest that may follow in Longstaff, having tied the 21-year-old to a new four-year contract as recently as December.
And with Longstaff reportedly on England’s radar ahead of the Three Lions’ Under-21 fixtures next month, the Magpies could have yet more reason to bump up the local lad’s price tag.
How good can the Newcastle United youngster become? And should the Magpies fear losing him?
