Arsenal are determined to sign Neto from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Mundo Deportivo.
What’s the story?
It is being reported that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Neto from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
However, Arsenal are determined to bring the Brazilian goalkeeper to the Emirates Stadium.
The goalkeeper’s agents consider Arsenal as ‘the most viable’ option.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes that the 31-year-old is better with his foot than all the goalkeepers he has at his disposal at the moment.
The player himself wants to move to the Premier League, and Barcelona are willing to sell him now.
Arsenal move make sense
Neto is a back-up at Barcelona, but the Brazil international is a very good goalkeeper.
After all, the 31-year-old has played for the likes of Juventus, Fiorentina and Valencia.
You don’t get to be even a squad player at Juventus or Barcelona if you are not good.

During his time at Juventus, the goalkeeper won the Serie A title twice.
Barcelona paid Valencia €26 million (£22.45m) in transfer fee to sign Neto in the summer of 2019, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Even if the Spanish and European giants ask for a similar transfer fee now, it would be a good deal for Arsenal.
Neto is experienced and would give Bernd Leno stiff competition for his place in the Arsenal starting lineup.
