Ron Vlaar had another fantastic performance at the heart of Netherlands’ defence as they saw off a poor Brazil in a 3-0 win.

Jasper Cillessen 7 – Had very few shots on target to deal with but handled everything professionally and with ease.

Stefan de Vrij 8 – Very good game, made some great interceptions and followed that momentum forward by showing good skill to glide past players.

Ron Vlaar 8 – Another fine performance from the Aston Villa man, looked solid and never out of place.

Bruno Martins Indi 6 – Didn’t have a great deal to do and never got terribly involved within the game.

Dirk Kuyt 8 – Seems to have the stamina of a marathon runner, just keeps on going and providing his team with boundless energy.

Georginio Wijnaldum 7 – Played a fairly decent game and got his goal which was very well taken.

Jonathan de Guzmán 6 – Glad to have another chance in the team but unfortunately couldn’t do anything to capitalise on it.

Jordy Clasie 6 – Did a good job in the midfield, passed well and played a pivotal cog in the Netherlands team.

Daley Blind 7 – Had a great game, always in the mix and took his goal very well.

Arjen Robben 8 – The one player every defender wouldn’t want to play against, a constant thorn in their side. Just keeps running at you and past you.

Robin van Persie 7 – Scored a great penalty and was a threat to Brazil’s defence.
