The Celtic youngster is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe.

Celtic youngster Aidan Nesbitt has told the Herald that Brendan Rodgers’ work with youngsters at Liverpool gives him confidence for the future.
Rodgers is well known for being prepared to give young talent their chance in the first-team after doing so on several occasions at Anfield.
His biggest success is arguably Raheem Sterling, who starred under the Northern Irishman before his big money move to Manchester City.

The likes of Jordon Ibe, Jordan Rossiter and Jon Flanagan were also success stories during his time on Merseyside.
And Nesbitt says that track record of developing young players gives him confidence of him making a breakthrough with the Scottish Champions.
“It obviously gives me confidence to see what the manager’s done for young talent at Liverpool, and hopefully I can do the same,” he told the Herald.
“All I can do is keep trying to make myself better and keep developing my game. Every single day I need to keep working hard and improving myself in the hop that I do get the opportunity.”

It remains to be seen if Nesbitt can breakthrough into the Celtic first-team in the near future.
Rodgers has already shown his desire to use youngsters at the club, with Patrick Roberts and Eoghan O’Connell starring for him despite his short stint in charge so far.
And should Nesbitt impress during his loan spell at Morton, it would not be surprising to see him featuring under Rodgers sooner rather than later.
