What rotten luck for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson.
On Saturday, the 23-year-old came off injured early on in Arsenal’s friendly defeat by Juventus in North London.
Nelson lasted only 21 minutes before being forced off with a suspected hamstring problem [HITC Sport].
This is a massive blow to a player who would’ve been hoping for a big second half of the campaign in North London.
Earlier this season, Nelson reignited his Arsenal career with two Premier League goals in a 5-0 demolition of Nottingham Forest, breathing new life into his spell at the Emirates.

So to go off injured a week before the table-topping Gunners resume their Premier League campaign, well it’s cruel.
Nevertheless, Nelson himself seems relatively upbeat.
Shortly before midnight, he posted a three-word caption on his Instagram story. It simply read: “Trust the process.”
This has become synonymous with Mikel Arteta, for it is the mantra that the Spanish manager has lived by during his three-year spell at the Emirates Stadium.
And although it’s much too early to know the severity of Nelson’s latest problem, at least we know he’s looking on the bright side of things.
