Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with Kylian Mbappe, but a new report will leave the Emirates Stadium and the Anfield faithful disappointed.
Arsenal and Liverpool linked with Kylian Mbappe
Journalist Ben Jacobs has told CaughtOffside that nether Arsenal nor Liverpool have held talks in regard to signing Paris Saint-Germain and France international forward Kylian Mbappe.
Journalist Edu Aguirre said on El Chiringuito TV last week that Liverpool are interested in signing Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
Earlier this month, Football Transfers claimed that Arsenal want to secure the services of the France international forward in the summer of 2024.
Current situation
Speaking to CaughtOffside, Jacobs said: “Right now PSG are just waiting on Mbappe. But if there is no breakthrough they will actively put him on the market. Real Madrid would still prefer to wait until next summer and sign Mbappe on a free transfer but would consider moving now if the price is right.

“Mbappe wants to compete in the Champions League. Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with Mbappe but neither are actively considering him, yet.”
The French forward would be an incredible addition to any Premier League side and would comfortably be one of the top players in the division.
At the moment, the player’s preference is seemingly Real Madrid.
Madrid have been trying to sign the forward for a while now.
And Mbappe himself has said that he would love to play for Los Blancos.
We find it hard to believe that Mbappe would end up at Arsenal or Liverpool anytime soon.
But, you never know in football.
