Tottenham earned a narrow 1-0 win over Cardiff City on Saturday.

Neil Warnock has been quoted by the Daily Mirror as blasting Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane for the England captain’s involvement in Cardiff City star Joe Ralls’ red card on Saturday – and Graham Roberts reacted on Twitter.
Spurs earned a narrow 1-0 win over newly-promoted Cardiff on Saturday, edging past Warnock’s side thanks to Eric Dier’s eighth-minute goal that saw him tap home from six yards from a corner.
Ralls was sent off for a challenge on Brazilian attacker Lucas Moura in the second half, which saw Kane sprint towards Mike Dean and Warnock accused Kane of influencing the referee’s decision to give a straight red card.
Warnock was quoted as saying: “I don’t think he needs to do that. He plays for England, I think he’s a tremendous player. But I don’t think you try to get other pros sent off, just because he’s had a poor game and Spurs were having a poor game – he shouldn’t take it out on us.”
The experienced manager’s comments incensed former Tottenham star Roberts on Twitter, who retaliated by sarcastically telling his following that he is confident who is the “nicer human being”.
Ralls now faces a three-match ban for the challenge on Moura, with Cardiff sitting at the foot of the Premier League table on two points from eight matches and without a league win thus far.
Spurs, meanwhile, sit in fifth place after a decent start in the league that has seen the north Londoners pick up six wins from eight – but losses to Watford and Liverpool mean they remain two points behind leaders Manchester City.
