Nottingham Forest are currently on the hunt for a new manager to take over from Paul Williams.
Neil Warnock has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show on TalkSPORT, which was broadcast on 26th May, that Nottingham Forest will make it back to the Premier League.
Warnock has been tipped as a potential replacement for Paul Williams at the City Ground.
Warnock has received the backing of 53 per cent of Forest supporters – according to a poll ran by the Nottingham Post.
And upon hearing about the vote, Warnock said: “Well done Forest fans. It’s a lovely city! I had some great times at Forest when Cloughie was there. It’s a great club Forest – it will come back up.”
Warnock is currently out of work, after he turned down a contract with Rotherham United.
Warnock did a marvellous job at the New York Stadium, and he helped Rotherham avoid the drop to League One.
However, the experienced manager decided that his future was not with the Millers, and he is now looking for work again.
Forest are on the hunt for a new manager, and Warnock is one of a number of names being touted as potential candidates.
Warnock was linked to the Forest job two years ago, but on that occasion Fawaz Al Hasawi decided to appoint Stuart Pearce instead.
