Leeds United will face Ipswich Town in the Championship this weekend.

Neil Warnock suggested on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, September 23, 2016) that Ipswich Town can get something from the match against Leeds United this weekend.

Ipswich will take on the West Yorkshire outfit away from home at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Former Leeds manager Warnock has suggested that the Tractor Boys can get something from the game.

Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy

“It will be a tough game at Leeds, but it’s quite a game that they can come away with something,” said Warnock about Ipswich on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, September 23, 2016).

Ipswich are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 12 points from eight matches.

Mick McCarthy’s side are aiming for a top-six finish in the table this season and are just two points behind Brentford, who currently occupy the final playoff spot.

The Tractor Boys will head into the match against Leeds on the back of a goalless draw with Aston Villa at Portman Road.

Meanwhile, Leeds currently find themselves 15th in the Championship table with 10 points from eight matches.

The Whites will head into the match against Ipswich on the back of a narrow 1-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road in the third round of the EFL Cup.
