Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock is making an impact on loan at Newcastle United.
When Arsenal signed Martin Odegaard on loan in January, they decided they needed to send Willock out on loan for first-team football.
Newcastle won the race, and the midfielder has now scored three big goals for the Magpies since arriving until the end of the season.
He scored on his debut against Southampton, as well as grabbing an equaliser against Tottenham Hotspur and then a winner against West Ham United last weekend.
The 21-year-old is effectively trying to prove that he is good enough to have a long-term future at Arsenal, but Newcastle will certainly want to keep him.
Now, Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock has given his view on Willock, raving about the young midfielder and his quality.

Warnock told Teesside Live that he thinks Willock will be worth around £20million to buy, and whilst Boro like him, they just can’t get involved in the race.
“We’ll try and see if we can talk him into coming up here. There’s not a lot like that out there though,” said Warnock. “The real top ones of the 19 or 20-year-olds, they’re probably going to get higher up than us. I don’t mean that disrespectfully, but clubs in the Premier League will want them. Look at (Joe) Willock at Newcastle – I like him, but he’s probably going to go for about £20m if they get him,” he added.
If Willock keeps on impressing, don’t be surprised to see Arsenal demand even more money for their young midfielder.
