Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock wants Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic on loan in the summer transfer window.

According to The Sun, Cardiff – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship – want to sign Grujic on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder – who earns £18,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – spent the second half of last season on loan at the Bluebirds following a loan move from the Reds in the January transfer window.
Cardiff manager Warnock told Sky Sports about signing Grujic on loan: “I’m always optimistic. You’ve got to be at my age.
“We were a bit thin on the ground (in midfield) against Torquay in that area without Aaron Gunnarson as well so it shows we’ve got to make sure we get somebody in in that position.”

Good move for Marko Grujic?
With competition for places in the Liverpool team fierce, it is hard to see Grujic get much playing time for Jurgen Klopp’s side next season.
The 22-year-old Serbia international midfielder has made only a handful of first-team appearances for Liverpool since his move from Red Star Belgrade in January 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Independent to be worth £5.1 million.
If Cardiff are willing to give Grujic the playing time that he needs, then the youngster should make the switch to the Welsh club.
