Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Norwich City have all been linked with Fulham striker Ross McCormack.
Former Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock predicted on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Thursday morning (broadcast from 6am, May 26) that Fulham striker Ross McCormack would score a lot of goals in the Championship whichever club he plays for.
McCormack and Warnock worked with each other at West Yorkshire outfit Leeds.
The Scotland international is now on the books of Fulham and has a contract with the London outfit until June 2019.
The 29-year-old is one of the best strikers in the Championship and has been linked with a move away from Fulham in the summer transfer window.
According to a recent report in The Daily Mail, relegated trio Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Norwich City are interested in signing McCormack this summer.
Warnock believes that the former Rangers and Motherwell striker would be a success whichever club he plays for next season.
“He (McCormack) will score 25 goals every year in the Championship,” said Warnock on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Thursday morning (broadcast from 6am, May 26) while discussing speculation linking McCormack with a move to Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
“I am not bothered what club he is with. It’s getting the right system to play with him really because he is a goalscorer. He takes his opportunities. He scored some great goals last year.”
McCormack scored 21 goals and created 96 chances in 44 Championship appearances for Fulham during the 2015-16 season.
During the 2014-15 campaign, the former Leeds striker scored 17 goals and created 79 chances in 44 league matches for the Cottagers.
