Neil Warnock delivers his verdict on whether Crystal Palace will survive this season

Crystal Palace are currently in 16th place in the Premier League table.

Neil Warnock has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 20th March, that he believes Crystal Palace will finish this season in mid-table.

Palace are currently embroiled in a relegation battle, and there are serious concerns that they could be sucked into the bottom three.

The Eagles did manage to win against Huddersfield Town last weekend, which was a major boost to their survival chances.

And Warnock believes that his former side will certainly get out of trouble by the end of the campaign.

He said: “I think Palace will finish half way. I think they’ve got as good a squad as anybody [in the relegation fight].”

To finish in mid-table Palace will need to finish the campaign in strong form.

Roy Hodgson’s side have next weekend off, due to the international break, but will return to action in two Saturdays’ time.

Palace are set to welcome back competitive football with a tough match against Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in wonderful form recently, but Palace will be determined to pull off an upset.

As things stand, the Eagles are sat in 16th place in the Premier League table, two points above the relegation zone.
