Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock worked with Nathaniel Clyne – now on loan at Bournemouth from Liverpool – at Crystal Palace.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has criticised Liverpool, as quoted in The Daily Star.
Warnock has claimed that there was an agreement between Liverpool and Cardiff over the transfer of Nathaniel Clyne.
The 27-year-old right-back has joined Bournemouth on loan from the Reds in the January transfer window.
Warnock worked with the England international defender at Crystal Palace, and the Cardiff manager has strong words for Liverpool.
The Daily Star quotes Warnock as saying: “We’ve almost agreed terms for one particularly player, but I was disappointed with Nathaniel Clyne.
“Having known the player and given him his debut, I’m disappointed not just with the boy himself but with Liverpool as well for not ringing me.
“To see it on television when I’ve done everything right and they’ve promised that he’s my player this week, it’s a disgrace for me, it’s a lack of class, isn’t it?”

Looking ahead
Clyne is a good right-back, and perhaps at Bournemouth, the England international will get back to his best.
The former Southampton star has had injury problems in recent times and has also struggled for playing time this season.
Eddie Howe is a good manager who likes his team to get forward, and Clyne will flourish under the Bournemouth boss.
With the Cherries aiming to finish in the top half of the Premier League table this season, Clyne will also be playing in a healthy environment where his quality will show.
Bournemouth lost 3-1 to Brighton and Hove Albion at home in the third round of FA Cup on Saturday.
