Wolverhampton Wanderers will feature in the Championship this season.

Former Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has suggested on talkSPORT that the new Wolverhampton Wanderers owners should not have publicly stated that they have money to spend in the summer transfer window.
Championship club Wolves were bought by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International last month.
Jeff Shi, an investment director at Fosun International, was quoted as saying thereafter by The Express & Star that the club will invest between £20 million and £30m over the next two years.
Former Leeds and QPR boss Warnock believes that the new Wolves owners should not have gone public with the amount of money they plan to spend.

“I think the first mistake is actually going public that they are going to spend £20m, £30m because then the fees will go a lot higher,” said Warnock on talkSPORT.
Wolves will kick off their 2016-17 Championship campaign with an away game against Rotherham United this weekend.

Walter Zenga’s side will take on Rotherham away from home at the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Wanderers will head into the match as favourites and with confidence, and should be able to pick up all three points.
A top-six finish is probably beyond Wolves this season, but Zenga’s team should be aiming for the top 10.
