Joe Cole has stated that Tottenham striker Harry Kane is an ‘unbelievable’ player, as he told the All to Play for Podcast.
But Neil Ruddock also added by saying that both the player and Spurs themselves are in a ‘nightmare’ situation.
Over the International break, Kane, who has only scored one Premier League goal this season, scored seven for England.
The opposition may have been of the standard that Joe Cole could still play against, but it’s morale-boosting for the player, nonetheless.
A lot has been made of Kane constantly dropping deep during his game, which is becoming an issue.
But Ruddock shared that he can understand why he does it, as both Cole and himself shared their thoughts on the England captain.
“He’s having a nightmare though, isn’t he?” said Ruddock. “But it’s Tottenham’s that’s having a nightmare, not Harry Kane.
“You can understand that he keeps coming short just to get a touch of the ball.”
“He’s unbelievable Harry Kane, isn’t he,” said Cole. “Harry Kane needs the service.”

Antonio Conte has already taken charge of two games – a Europa League Conference win, then a draw at Goodison.
And now with a home tie against Leeds United coming up, the Spurs forward line will be backing themselves to cause some damage.
This is a great chance for Kane to really kick start his season against a team struggling near the bottom and one that does provide the opposition with a number of opportunities.
If he starts going down the same road under Conte as he did with Nuno Espirito Santo, then people will really start to question where his head is at after the transfer mess from the summer.
