Leeds United have lost two of their last three Championship outings.
Neil Redfearn has told Radio Yorkshire that Leeds United can no longer “murder” teams because their Championship rivals are learning how to beat them.
Leeds are reeling from a 3-1 defeat by Cardiff City in midweek which was their second loss in the space of 10 days, having lost at Millwall too.
Before the Millwall setback, Thomas Christiansen’s side hadn’t lost in any competition and were looking like the stand-out candidates to win automatic promotion.
However, it seems like other Championship sides are beginning to wise up and Redfearn believes it is only going to get tougher for Leeds from here on in.
“Everybody has seen them first hand and what they are good at so it’s going to get tougher for him,” he told Radio Yorkshire.
“They coming into it with the reputation for being a good footballing side and if I was scout watching Leeds United, I would say if they stand off and let them play, they will murder you.
“But if you get right up against them, there are one or two of them who will find it tough.”
The Whites will be hoping to beat Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsbrough on Sunday and bounce back from their midweek setback.
Fortunately for Leeds, the Owls have lost their last two games, so it could be a great time for a response.
