Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United lost against Norwich City on Saturday evening.

Leeds United have suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Norwich City at Elland Road in the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side headed into the match against Norwich at home on Saturday evening on the back of a 2-1 victory over Rotherham United away from home in the league.
With Norwich also challenging for automatic promotion to the Premier League, Leeds were always going to find it hard to pick up all three points against the Canaries.
Mario Vrancic put Norwich in the lead after just five minutes, and Teemu Pukki doubled the advantage on 35 minutes.
Vrancic wrapped up the scoring for Canaries on 78 minutes to help his side to a 3-0 victory.
The result means that Leeds are now second in the Championship table with 57 points from 30 matches, level on points with leaders Norwich City, but behind on goal difference.

Former Leeds manager Neil Redfearn was following the match, and he has given his take on the performance of the Whites against Norwich.
Redfearn said on BBC Radio Leeds at full time on Saturday evening (7:27pm, February 2, 2019): “The second half was just a scrap. But in amongst all this, I think Leeds played really well first half, and in the second half it was difficult for them because against a good side it is always hard to get yourselves back in it.”
