Souleymane Doukara helped Leeds United move fourth in the Championship.
Speaking to TV Yorkshire, Neil Redfearn has praised Souleymane Doukara’s resurgence for Leeds United in recent weeks.
The 25-year-old forward is now an ever-present fixture under Garry Monk after barely getting a look-in earlier on in the season.
He started Saturday evening’s huge 2-0 win over Aston Villa – his fourth successive starting berth – as Leeds moved fourth in the Championship table.

The French attacker played a big role in the win by delivering a superb cross which Roofe headed home on 68 minutes to give United a 1-0 lead.
Doukara is a symbol of what can happen if you continue to work hard under Monk and he is now reaping the rewards for his hard work off-the-pitch it would seem.
And ex-Whites boss Redfearn is delighted with how he has done, noting that the striker has been “outstanding” in recent weeks.

“He’s had to be patient for his chance and really bided his time, but in the last two or three games he’s been outstanding,” he told TV Yorkshire. “The ball in for Kemar Roofe’s goal was really out of the top drawer.”
Leeds only have a two-point cushion in the playoff places, but only seven points separate them from the top two and that might just be the new aim.
Doukara’s improvement is, in a way, not unlike that of the team.
United picked up only one win from their first six matches but that seems a long, long time ago now.
