Leeds United will face Burton Albion at Elland Road in the Championship this afternoon.

Leeds will take on Burton at Elland Road in the Championship in just under three hours’ time.
Former Leeds head coach Redfearn has backed the Whites to pick up all three points from the encounter.
“I think it will be a tough game for Leeds on Saturday, but I do think Leeds are a different animal now and I think they will have too much for Burton,” Redfearn told Radio Yorkshire.

Leeds are one of the favourites to finish in the top six of the Championship this season, having narrowly missed out on a playoff spot during the 2016-17 campaign.
Thomas Christiansen’s side are much better than Burton in terms of quality and talent, and they will head into the encounter at Elland Road this afternoon as firm favourites.
The West Yorkshire outfit, though, cannot get complacent, as Burton do have it in themselves to pick up a point at Elland Road.

Nigel Clough’s side will not be under any pressure, and one suspects that they will be happy with just a point. If they score early, then they could give Leeds a run for their money.
Leeds’s home record in the Championship this season is not great. The Whites failed to win against Preston North End at Elland Road and drew goalless with Fulham last month.
