The West Yorkshire outfit have been inconsistent of late, and their record at Elland Road this campaign is not very good.
Thomas Christiansen’s side’s lost again on Tuesday, going down 2-1 to Derby County at home despite taking the lead in the Championship game.
The performance of the players left much to be desired, but one man who did well was Samuel Saiz.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The former Spain Under-19 international, who can also operate as a forward, created as many as five chances in the match (click here to read more).
Saiz joined Leeds from Huesca in the summer transfer window and has been a hit at Elland Road.
The Spaniard has scored four goals and provided three assists in 12 Championship starts for Leeds so far this season.
Former Leeds head coach Neil Redfearn has been impressed by Saiz and told Radio Yorkshire after the match against Derby: “I look at little Samu Saiz, I think he has got great ability. I think he is the one golden egg out of all this.”
