Felix Wiedwald displaced Rob Green as Leeds United’s first-choice goalkeeper.

Speaking to Radio Yorkshire, Neil Redfearn has claimed that Leeds United goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald does not fill him with confidence, suggesting that selling Rob Green was a mistake.
The German joined Leeds in a £500,000 move from Werder Bremen in the summer but there is a big question mark over him.
The 26-year-old has made a couple of costly errors for the Whites already and second-choice Andy Lonergan is knocking at the door.

The Yorkshire side brought back Lonergan – who spent the 2011-12 campaign at Elland Road – following the sale of Green to Huddersfield.
Green, who joined under Garry Monk in the summer of 2016, was immense for United last season, and ex-Leeds boss Redfearn has suggested to Radio Yorkshire that his former club made a mistake in offloading the veteran keeper.
He said: “At the end of the day, in the last two games they have conceded five goals and that’s a lot of goals to ship in two games.

“Although you couldn’t pin him for mistake, Wiedwald doesn’t fill me with confidence.
“If I am honest I think he is okay and out of the three Green is the best.”
Leeds, who lost 3-1 to Cardiff City on Tuesday, aim to bounce back to the summit of the Championship by beating Sheffield Wednesday in a Yorkshire derby at Hillsbrough on Sunday.
