Former Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn has told Radio Yorkshire the side need to make a number of changes next season.
The Whites have made impressive progress this season and currently occupy a play-off place, but have lost their last two matches and face a battle to finish in the top six.
During his weekly slot on Radio Yorkshire on Wednesday night (5/4), Redfearn was asked about which positions Leeds should be looking to strengthen this summer, and responded by insisting they try and push on in as many as five positions.
He said: “They obviously need defensive cover, its really apparent, at centre-back.
“You look at attacking options in wide areas, I know he’s brought a few in. A new number 10, to allow Pablo Hernandez to come off the bench, and somebody to play up front with Chris Wood.
“[I’d want] a midfield player that can go box to box and take game by scruff of neck. A proper man that gets about people and make things happen.”

One position which could easily be added to this list is left-back, with Charlie Taylor’s future uncertain amid his unsigned contract.
Only Premier League promotion will give the Whites a shot at keeping him, and while they have cover in Tyler Denton and Gaetano Berardi, they could do with an extra option.
