Garry Monk was appointed the Leeds United head coach in the summer.
Neil Redfearn has suggested to The Yorkshire Evening Post that Leeds United head coach Garry Monk will be attracting interest from Premier League clubs.
Monk was appointed the Leeds head coach in the summer following the departure of Steve Evans at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The former Swansea City boss has done a remarkable job at the Whites so far this season.
The West Yorkshire outfit are currently sixth in the Championship table and are genuine playoff contenders.

Former Leeds head coach Redfearn has suggested that Monk’s success could spark interest among clubs in the Premier League.
“It’s like anything and anybody who is doing well and anybody who is being successful there will be people looking in and being interested,” Redfearn told The Yorkshire Evening Post regarding Monk’s future. “And, to be fair to Garry and what he has done, all along he has got his head down and cracked on with it.
“He seems like he is enjoying himself and the players and the staff and everybody, they all seem really together.
“Sometimes that can be worth more than anything, being in and around the right environment that you enjoy and that you love working in.
“I’m pretty sure that Garry is ambitious and he will want the best he can and hopefully that can be to the benefit of Leeds United. Hopefully he can take Leeds United with him.”

Monk is a very good and talented young manager, and it should not come as a surprise to anyone if Premier League clubs do approach him later in the season or next summer.
What is important for Leeds at the moment is that the team continue to get results and stay in the hunt for the playoffs.
The West Yorkshire will take on league leaders Newcastle United at Elland Road in the Championship after the international break.
