Leeds United’s Thomas Christiansen has a dilemma, according to Neil Redfearn.

Neil Redfearn has told Radio Yorkshire that he feels as if Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen is contributing to the problem by trying to accommodate Samu Saiz and Pablo Hernandez in the same side.
Leeds have lost four of their last five Championship outings and another defeat at Bristol City this weekend would indicate a major problem for the Whites.
Saiz and Hernandez are arguably two of United’s most attacking threats but Redfearn feels as if they cancel one another out on the pitch.

Hernandez, 32, spent the 1-0 defeat by Reading on the left wing and had very little impact, before missing a last-minute penalty, while £3.1 million signing Saiz was one of Leeds’ best players from the number 10 role.
It seems like Christiansen can’t squeeze both into the same attacking triumvirate behind the lone striker, and ex-Whites boss Redfearn says that the duo are effectively “contributing to the problem”.

He told Radio Yorkshire: “I think he’s got a problem and he’s got a bit of a dilemma here because I think his biggest attacking threats are Hernandez and Saiz.
“But they’re contributing to the problem. I don’t think he can play them both. Saiz plays in the 10 but if you want to go two up top then he’s got to come off.”
It will be interesting to see if Christiansen perseveres with both on Saturday.
But it must be said that some of Leeds’ best performances this season have come when both were in the first XI, the 5-0 demolition of Burton Albion springing to mind.
