Leeds United made it back-to-back wins on Saturday.

Speaking to TV Yorkshire, Neil Redfearn has hailed Kyle Bartley and Pontus Jansson’s performance in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Cardiff City.
Leeds made it back-to-back wins in the Championship by beating the Welsh side yesterday, four days after winning 2-1 at home to Blackburn Rovers.
Chris Wood’s penalty on 62 minutes sent the Whites on their way, but a fine effort from Pablo Hernandez made sure of the three points seven minutes from time.

At the other end, Garry Monk’s side looked superb as the centre-back pairing Jansson and Bartley comfortably repelled everything which came their way.
And ex-Leeds boss Redfearn told TV Yorkshire that the duo – who both joined United on season-long loans in the summer – were simply “exceptional” in the Welsh capital yesterday.
“Clean sheet, which is always important, and manner of the clean sheet. I thought Jansson and Bartley were exceptional. Leeds looked really solid and organised. He [Jansson] was the best player on the pitch. He made good decisions at the right time and what he is is brave, he put his body on the line.”

Leeds lost 1-0 at home to Huddersfield eight days ago but it feels a lot longer.
Their two wins, bringing their total to three victories this season in the Championship, has changed the complexion of their season a little and suddenly there is renewed optimism.
From a Leeds perspective, long may it last.
