Neil Redfearn has praised the Leeds United duo after Wolves win.
Neil Redfearn has told TV Yorkshire that Leeds United duo Kyle Bartley and Pontus Jansson were his men of the match on Saturday.
Leeds beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at Molineux yesterday afternoon to move three points adrift of the top six after 14 Championship games played.
Sílvio Manuel Pereira’s own goal after 70 minutes was enough for the Whites in a game which Jansson and Bartley impress in the heart of Garry Monk’s defence.

And former Leeds boss Redfearn briefly highlighted their contribution at Molineux afterwards.
He told TV Yorkshire: “For me the two stand-out players were Bartley and Jansson. I thought he [Monk] got the system and the shape spot-on.”

It was a really impressive win for Leeds and they seem to be extremely strong-minded under manager Monk.
They lost 1-0 at Derby County last weekend, before a late equaliser denied them a home victory over Wigan Athletic in midweek, but winning at Wolves is a big statement that they are becoming a very solid side under the 38-year-old.
United seem to have the capacity to put disappointments to one side, drawing a line under defeats and setbacks, when earlier in the season they would spill over into their subsequent games.
Monk and co host Norwich City at Elland Road in midweek, where victory would see them move into the quarter-finals of the League Cup.
