Leeds United’s Mateusz Klich earned his second start for the club on Tueday.

Neil Redfearn has told TV Yorkshire that he was not impressed with Mateusz Klich’s performance for Leeds United on Tuesday night.
Leeds cruised into the third round of the League Cup with an emphatic 5-1 win over Newport County at Elland Road.
Klich, 27, was the first of a plethora of new faces to join the Whites this summer but he has had to wait the longest to string a run of games together following an early-season injury.

Nevertheless, the Poland international earned his second start for United in the win, following a 10-minute cameo in Saturday’s victory over Sunderland, but although Redfearn wasn’t blown away the midfielder, the ex-Leeds boss says the new man needs time.
He told TV Yorkshire: “I didn’t think he played particularly well last night if I’m honest, but he’s finding his feet.
“It has been said that he needs matches so we’ve got to give him the benefit of the doubt and give him some time.”

Another one who looked some way off his best against Newport was Ronaldo Vieira, who started alongside Klich in midfield but, like his Polish counterpart, the youngster has barely featured for the Yorkshire side this season.
Klich joined Leeds in a £1.5 million deal from FC Twente, according to The Yorkshire Post.
