Leeds United have been rather soft in recent games and Neil Redfearn agrees with Thomas Christiansen’s assessment.
Neil Redfearn has told Radio Yorkshire that a ‘softness’ to Leeds United will be Thomas Christiansen’s “biggest disappointment” during his time in charge.
Leeds superb early-season form has hit the skids over the past few weeks after losing their last three away games to drop to fifth in the Championship.
The Whites went down 3-0 to Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday in a Yorkshire derby where the Owls could and probably should have won by a lot more.
Christiansen was openly critical of how ‘soft’ his troops were but such a performance is becoming a worrying trend following limp performances against Cardiff and Millwall in recent weeks.
And Redfearn agrees with the head coach’s assessment, claiming that he’ll be hugely disappointed with the manner of those three setbacks.
“I listened to Thomas Christiansen’s interview after and he mentioned the word ‘soft’ and I think there was that in Leeds’ performance if I’m honest,” he told Radio Yorkshire.
“He’s obviously aware of that and that’s probably his biggest disappointment.”
Leeds have a chance to bounce back when Reading visit Elland Road next weekend, and bounce back they must. Christiansen won’t want this terrible form dragging on any longer.
