Leeds United will face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship on Friday evening.

Neil Redfearn has told TV Yorkshire that Brighton & Hove Albion would be wary of Leeds United.

Brighton will take on Leeds at the American Express Community Stadium in the Championship on Friday evening.

The Whites will head into the match on the back of a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at Elland Road in the league.

Garry Monk’s side are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 32 points from 19 matches.

Brighton currently find themselves second in the standings with 39 points from 19 matches.

The Seagulls are just a point behind leaders Newcastle United and are genuine contenders for automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Chris Hughton’s side will head into the match against Leeds on the back of a goalless draw with Cardiff City away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Former Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn

Former Leeds head coach Redfearn has looked ahead to the match between the two teams on Friday evening.

“Brighton would be really wary of Leeds,” Redfearn has told TV Yorkshire. “Both sides in this division have acquitted themselves great. It’s a massive game now for both clubs.”

Brighton will fancy their chances of winning against Leeds, as they have home advantage. A draw would be a good result for the West Yorkshire outfit.
