Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United have won against Sheffield Wednesday, thanks to Manchester City-owned Jack Harrison’s goal.

Leeds United have enhanced their chances of finishing in the top two of the Championship this season with a 1-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have got the better of Wednesday 1-0 at Elland Road in the Championship.
Jack Harrison – signed on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Manchester City in the summer of 2018 – scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute.
The win against Wednesday means that Leeds are now second in the Championship table with 82 points from 42 matches, just three points behind leaders Norwich City, who have played 41 games.
The Whites are now three points ahead third-placed Sheffield United, and they now have automatic promotion in their hands.

Neil Redfearn was following the match, and the former Leeds head coach has given his take on the final result.
Redfearn said on BBC Radio Leeds at full time on Saturday evening (7:28pm, April 13, 2019): “The most pleasing thing, I was thinking, from Marcelo Bielsa’s point of view is the clean sheet.
“If you keep clean sheets with the way Leeds play, create chances, there’s a good chance that you are going to win football matches. They have done that all season. They were magnificent today.”
Meanwhile, former Leeds midfielder Vinnie Jones has praised Harrison on Twitter for his goal and has also revelled in the win.
Jones wrote on Twitter: “Great result, well done boys, worked your b******s off, 4 cup finals left #InBielsaWeTrust #MOT.”
Leeds will return to action next Friday afternoon when they take on Wigan Athletic at Elland Road in the Championship.
