Tottenham defender Juan Foyth was praised for his display by Sky pundit.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth was given a rare start for the club in the Carabao Cup against West Ham.
He helped Spurs to a 3-1 away victory, playing all 90 minutes at the London Stadium.
His performance impressed watching Sky Sports pundit Neil Mellor, a former Liverpool striker.
Mellor told Sky Sports Soccer Special: “The centre half’s done well.
“On three or four occasions, the protection he’s given his goalkeeper has been outstanding.”

It was always going to be tough for Foyth coming into a side for his first start in months.
He looked composed, and read the game well. You would not have guessed watching the game that he had spent the past few months on the sidelines.
Foyth’s performance has surely opened the door to further opportunities.
He will fancy his chances of playing in the next round of the Carabao Cup, but there could be chances in the Premier League or Champions League between now and January.
The Argentine could not have done more last night with the opportunity he was given.
