West Ham United forward Toni Martinez has been linked with Dundee in the January transfer window.

McCann, though, has admitted that it may not be possible for Dundee to secure the services of the 20-year-old forward before the end of the January transfer window.
The Scottish Sun recently claimed of the Scottish Premiership club’s interest in the Spaniard, and that they were considering making a loan move for the youngster.
Martinez has been on the books of the Hammers since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Valencia for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £2.4 million.

McCann said: “Toni is a player I am aware of. I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t scour everywhere for all sorts of players that are available. We can’t spend a lot of money on strikers.
“Martinez is clearly a very talented striker but he played for West Ham at the weekend. Listen, I don’t think there is anything going to come of that.
“He is a class player. I have looked at him, Tony is a player among probably 50 strikers.”

Dundee are in danger of getting relegated from the Scottish Premiership to the Scottish Championship at the end of the season.
The Dee could do with a player of Martinez’s natural quality, and it would also make sense for West Ham to loan out the former Spain Under-19 international.
