The Ibrox striker has been in exceptional form for Rangers so far this season.

Morelos has been his usual dynamite self so far this season, scoring a magnificent 20 goals in 23 appearances.
It’s naturally led to some speculation that he could be set for bigger leagues and richer teams in the upcoming transfer window.
However, BBC Scotland pundit McCann is adamant that the Colombian won’t be going anywhere until a team comes around offering ‘crazy cash’.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said: “The manager will put up a healthy fight, that’s for sure.
“I can’t see for the life of me the board entertaining Morelos going unless it was stupid money.
“I mean, it would have to be crazy cash – £25 million plus, maybe, Kieran Tierney money.”
Later going on to suggest that Gerrard might feel the club are throwing the chance of a Scottish Premiership title win away if he is sold in January, McCann clearly thinks the Gers’ chances of silverware are directly linked to the 23-year-old.
Although Jermain Defoe has hardly been a slouch in front of goal this season, he hasn’t had to endure the demands of playing on a regular mid-week to weekend basis that could take its toll on his form.
McCann is right to talk up Morelos’ importance and likely correct with his assertion that the club will stand firm heading into the transfer window.

If a cash-rich club does come in though then it could be hard to deny the realities of the Ibrox side’s situation. There’s not a lot of money in Scottish football outside of selling playing assets.
Letting players go at their peak value is the kind of recruitment strategy they need to follow, even if that’s mid-season.
