The Ibrox striker was impressive for Rangers tonight despite his team losing.

Pundits Neil McCann and Chris Sutton were left impressed by Alfredo Morelos’ goal against Young Boys tonight in the UEFA Europa League.
The Colombian striker was in a dangerous mood throughout the 90 minutes against the Swiss side, getting himself into a number of shooting positions.
It was his goal shortly before the interval that really set the game alight though, out-muscling an opposition defender before coolly slotting home past the helpless goalkeeper.
For McCann, it was his strength that allowed him to take advantage of the opportunity.
As quoted by BBC Scotland (03/10 live match page, 18:44), he said: “You can’t get too close to Alfredo Morelos because he’s so strong.
“He rolls the defenders, is in one-v-one and you just fancy him, don’t you? He opens up his foot as if he’s going to bend it in the far post and then reverses it in to the front post.”
Meanwhile, Sutton was left similarly impressed on Twitter, taking to the platform to remark on his ‘terrific’ finish.
The goal is his 14th of the season so far, from just 18 appearances in total. It’s quite the record. He’s threatening to surpass his 30 goal all competitions from last term.
Unfortunately for Rangers it would prove to be useless in terms of securing a result.
Captain James Tavernier would go on to make two critical errors, allowing Young Boys to equalise and then ultimately win the match.
So while one usually reliable star managed to positively impact the match, another was in dreadful form.

It’ll be frustrating for manager Steven Gerrard, who could do little about his defence effectively throwing away a crucial win.
For Morelos, on a personal basis, the goal at European level is further proof of his development.
He’ll be hoping it can help convince his Colombia manager of caps later this month.
