Celtic should consider bringing back Hibernian midfielder Dylan McGeouch in the summer.

McGeouch was sold by Celtic back in 2015, but that decision is starting to look like a big error now.
The 24-year-old has been absolutely brilliant for Hibs this season, with the midfielder’s displays really catching the eye.
McGeouch’s contract at Hibs is set to expire in the summer, and Lennon admits that could prove problematic for his side.

“The problem with McGeouch is he has had injuries, groin strains, hamstrings and niggles, to the point where I’m not sure he played eight games in a row throughout his whole career until this season,” Lennon said.
“He went to see a specialist, he got to the bottom of it, and he has had a very strong season. He is one of the first names on the team sheet.
“McGeouch is mature, composed on the ball and his reading of the game is very good.
“His passing is of a very high level now, and he’s accepted his responsibility within the team.
“The problem I have is he is out of contract. I have a fight on my hands to try and tie him down for the next few years.”
Lennon’s comments should now convince Celtic that a return would be possible.

Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side have already shown a willingness to buy the top talent in Scotland, and McGeouch fits into that criteria.
The midfielder is beginning to fulfil his potential, and he could bolster Rodgers’ options at Parkhead.
And if Celtic can bring him back McGeouch back on a free transfer, then they should already be making plans to do so in the summer.
