As reported on BBC Sport last week, Duff has left Celtic as a first-team coach due to family reasons.
The 41-year-old former Chelsea and Newcastle United winger will now focus solely on his role with the Republic of Ireland national football team.
Lennon has said that Celtic have already identified potential replacements for Duff, and has suggested that an announcement could be made as early as next week after a final decision.
Lennon told HeraldScotland regarding a replacement for Duff: “We’re hoping to have someone in place next week. We’ve identified three or four options.”
Big season for Celtic
Celtic will be aiming to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row next season.
It is going to be massive for the Hoops, and one suspects that manager Lennon will do everything he possibly can to make sure that 10 in a row happens.
However, Rangers will have other plans, and manager Steven Gerrard will be determined to stop their bitter Old Firm rivals from winning the championship for the 10th successive year.
