Celtic boss Neil Lennon has seen his side fail to win either of their last two matches.

Neil Lennon has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he warned Celtic players that they could face an upset against Livingston.

Celtic were beaten 2-0 in their last match, as they let their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership slip.

Celtic’s performance was poor, after Ryan Christie picked up a red card.

The Bhoys could not cope with their numerical disadvantage, as Livingston scored twice in the second half.

And Lennon has admitted that he warned his players against complacency before kick off.

“You can’t panic but I am expecting better,” Lennon said.

“I did tell them before the game that the fixture was a concern. It’s a dangerous opponent in a dangerous environment. I knew Livi would up for it and they were. We needed to match that.”

Celtic’s defeat to Livingston has caused frustrations to rise at Parkhead.

Lennon’s men have failed to win either of their last two matches in the league, with Rangers now overtaking them.

Celtic are next in action after the international break when they take on Ross County at Parkhead.
