Celtic have plenty of work to do in the transfer market this summer.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon has admitted to Celtic TV that he’s hoping to give fans some positive transfer news ‘soon’.
The Bhoys face a major rebuilding job this summer, having seen so many loanees head back to their parent clubs and players run down their contracts.
Lennon needs to bring in a number of new faces, but there has been no inbound movement so far, leaving some Celtic fans concerned.
A deal for Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull has collapsed, and with the Champions League qualifiers fast approaching, Celtic need to get a move on.
For any worried Celtic fans, boss Lennon has now tackled the subject, and is at least hoping for some movement soon.
Lennon has suggested that he wants deals done as quickly as possible in order to integrate them into his team, and believes there may be some positive news to offer soon.
“We are looking to make some additions and it will be important to integrate them in as quickly as possible,” said Lennon. “There is a huge amount of work going in and we hope we will get some positive news soon,” he added.
Some others names mentioned are Toulouse defender Christopher Jullien and Bolton Wanderers midfielder Luca Connell, with the Daily Record reporting interest in both, but whether Celtic can get the deals over the line remains to be seen after missing out on Turnbull.
