Celtic look set to pursue a new striker this summer.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he has been suggesting striker targets to the club – and admits it’s possible they could splash the cash on one.
The Bhoys beat Kilmarnock 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, with Jozo Simunovic snatching a second half winner at Parkhead as Celtic dominated.
61% of possession, 27 shots on goal; Celtic were in charge against Killie, but could only grab the one goal as the Bhoys were almost frustrated once again.
The goals have dried up a little of late for Celtic, and it’s only strengthening the calls for the Bhoys to splash the cash on a new striker this summer.
Moussa Dembele wasn’t really replaced after his move to Lyon in August, whilst Leigh Griffiths took a break from football earlier this season, Oliver Burke hasn’t looked natural there and Timothy Weah has mostly been used on the left flank.
Burke and Weah’s loan deals end this summer, meaning it’s imperative that Celtic bring in another centre forward this summer.

Lennon denied that Celtic are moving for Paris FC’s Silas Wamangituka after The Scottish Sun claimed a £4.5million raid was on the cards, with the DR Congo not signing this summer according to Lennon.
He did though admit that he’s been advising Celtic to sign another striker this summer, even suggesting targets despite not being confirmed as Celtic’s permanent manager, and he even hinted that Celtic could spend big again, having broken their record last summer for Edouard.
“Centre forward would be the position I would look at if I was the manager,” said Lennon. “We’ve been doing that (suggesting targets) over the last few weeks. John’s been away, I’ve been away. Possibly (spending Edouard-style money). Or, you could find them out there and, depending on players’ situations with their contracts, wages, that sort of stuff, you may be able to get good players for less,” he added.
