Neil Lennon’s Celtic side could have some new faces to welcome at Parkhead in the near future.

Neil Lennon has told the Daily Record that Celtic are looking to complete their transfer business early on this summer, suggesting signings could be coming soon at Parkhead.

Celtic realise that there is a need to strengthen this summer, even though they won the treble again over the past campaign.

The Bhoys do not want to stand still, as the challenge from Rangers becomes greater.

And Lennon has claimed that Celtic already have their eye on signings, as they look to wrap up their transfer business early on this summer.

“It’s hugely difficult but if you can get players in early enough, you can subsidise that,” he said. “That’s what we are looking to do at the minute.

“We’ll do our business as quietly and as quickly as we can. There’s a lot of speculation and conjecture, we get linked with a lot of players, like we always do, but 75 percent of them are total nonsense.”

Celtic are thought to definitely be looking for a new right-back and a new forward, as Lennon plans to upgrade his squad.

The Bhoys do have money to spend, but they are yet to complete a signing since the season finished.

Celtic have most recently been linked with Sheffield United right-back George Baldock in the Daily Mail, as they seemingly look at potential additions.
