Celtic midfielder Scott Allan will move to Hibernian in the summer of 2019.

Hibs have already agreed a pre-contract agree with Allan and will have the 27-year-old Celtic midfielder at Easter Road in the summer of 2019.
Manager Lennon has said that he would like the former Scotland Under-21 international midfielder to be part of his team right now.
The former Celtic boss has also suggested that discussions over a permanent transfer of Allan are going on between the Hoops and Hibs.
Lennon told The Edinburgh Evening News regarding Allan: “I’m thrilled, it’s a real coup for us, a player that the fans love and he had such a big impact here last year and in his previous term under Alan Stubbs as well.
“We’re hoping something can get done before the window shuts. If not, we look forward to welcoming him in the summer.”
Lennon added: “I’m not involved in the financial negotiations and I’ve not spoken to Scotty about it, but I’m sure he would want to get out and play like all players would. Scott would fit in straight away with whatever formation we want to play.”

Leaving Celtic in January
Allan is not an important player in Brendan Rodgers’s team, and one suspects that the Celtic manager will not be fussed if the midfielder leaves for Hibernian in the January transfer window.
From a business point of view, it does make sense for Celtic to sell the former West Bromwich Albion prospect and get whatever they can in terms of transfer fee.
With Hibernian not doing well and Allan having already played for the club with success, it is a win-win situation for all three parties.
