Celtic manager Neil Lennon has raved about Patryk Klimala in The Scottish Sun.
Lennon was pleased to see Klimala score for Celtic in their 5-0 win against Ross County away from home in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.
The 22-year-old striker found the net in the 75th minute after coming on as a substitute on 62 minutes.
Lennon is pleased to see the youngster score, but he has made it clear that the Polish striker still needs to improve.
Lennon told The Scottish Sun: “Klimala looked great. You can see the hunger he’s got in him, the power. I said to to Patryk not to worry about his miss – probably wouldn’t have scored it either!
“Again, he’s another one who needs to polish off a few rough edges. But since he’s come back I’ve been really pleased with him.”
Good performance
Klimala did well for Celtic at the weekend, scoring a goal and also looking lively in attack.
According to WhoScored, the Polish youngster took two shots and both were on target (one ended in goal).
The 22-year-old has scored two goals in 105 minutes in the Scottish Premiership so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Meanwhile, former Celtic striker John Hartson was pleased with the win for the Hoops.
Meanwhile, The Daily Record has reported that Preston North End have turned down a bid of £5 million from Bournemouth for Ben Davies.
The report has claimed that Celtic are interested in signing the defender in the summer transfer window.
