Celtic manager Neil Lennon has said on the club’s YouTube channel that there have been no offers for reported Everton target Olivier Ntcham.

According to a report in 90min this month, Everton are among the clubs interested in signing Ntcham from Celtic in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Southampton and West Ham United also want the 24-year-old, who is interested in moving back to England and is valued at £20 million.

The Frenchman was at Manchester City as a youngster, but he failed to make it into the first team and moved to the Hoops in 2017.

Lennon has said that there have been no offers for Ntcham, and the Celtic boss has also stated that no decision has been made on the future of Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo after the 25-year-old left-back broke quarantine rules.

Lennon said on Celtic’s YouTube channel when asked about Ntcham’s future: “It’s just speculation.”

When asked if there has been any bid, the Celtic boss added: “No.”

Lennon told BBC Sport about Bolingoli-Mbombo: “No conclusion as of yet but there will be.”

Everton transfer this summer?

Ntcham is a very good central midfielder who has progressed and developed well at Celtic.

Everton could do with a dynamic player like the Frenchman in the middle of the park, especially as Morgan Schneiderlin has left and Fabian Delph has had injury problems.

While the Hoops may be reluctant to sell the 24-year-old, if Everton make a bid of £20 million, the Frenchman’s reported desire to play in the Premier League could seal the deal.
