The Celtic manager reckons he could be back to fitness much sooner than some reports suggested.

The Scottish Sun reported on Saturday evening that the left-back was facing another two months on the sidelines on top of the time he has already missed because of a hernia operation and other pains.
However, Lennon thinks he is only a week away from returning to full training and a further week to ten days away from being able to play.
As quoted by The Daily Record, he said: “He’ll be fit in a week or two. He still has some abductor pain, but I think the pubic problem is starting to settle and he’s over the double hernia.
“I know there is talk of him being out for another eight weeks, but that’s nonsense. I don’t know where that’s come from.
“He’s missed the whole of pre-season, but I’d say he’s more or less a week away from getting back integrated to the training.”
Clearly that’s great news for the player and, as it stands, for Celtic.
It could also be good news for Arsenal though, with the potential for them to return with a bid to meet the Hoops valuation of the player before the end of the English transfer window tomorrow.

Thankfully for Celtic fans, any drama surrounding the left-back is due to be sorted out either way by the end of Thursday. Everyone will soon know where he’s going to be playing his football this season.
After a prolonged period of rest and recuperation, he should be well placed to get back to his best form wherever he ends up.
The Hoops boss is clearly preparing for his return to the Celtic squad and it sounds like if he does stay he may even be fit enough to play in the first derby against Rangers at the start of next month.
