Celtic will be hoping that Brendan Rodgers doesn’t move on any time soon.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is being strongly linked with a move to Leicester City, which would leave the Bhoys scrambling.
Rodgers has rebuilt his reputation during his time with Celtic, and whilst many have predicted a return to the Premier League in the near future, few expected it to be before the end of the season.
However, Leicester sacked manager Claude Puel on Sunday after a 4-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace, and Rodgers is the main man linked with the Foxes job right now.
The Guardian report that Leicester now believe they can lure Rodgers away before the end of the season, and are launching a move to appoint the Northern Irishman immediately.
Another interesting point in that story is the line that Neil Lennon is being floated as the ‘obvious candidate’ to take the Celtic job until the end of the season if Rodgers does go.
It’s unclear whether that’s a suggestion or a real idea at Celtic, but it’s certainly worth discussing a Celtic Park return for a former Bhoys favourite.

Popular as a player and as a manager, Lennon spent four years as Celtic boss from 2010 to 2014, winning three league titles during his time in charge.
Lennon recently left his post at Hibs under peculiar circumstances, but would surely jump at the chance to take over from Rodgers even if only until the end of the season, as it would put him in the frame for the full-time job.
Of course, Celtic will be hoping that Rodgers stays put at least until summer, but if he does end up going, a short-term deal for Lennon does make some sense for the Bhoys.
