Neil Lennon finally gets something off his chest after Celtic title success

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has said that his side will go all out to make it 10 league titles in a row next season, as quoted in The Scottish Sun.

Lennon made the comments after Celtic were crowned the Scottish Premiership champions this season.

The top flight of Scottish football has been called early due to the global health crisis, with the final legue table decided on a points-per-game basis.

The Hoops have won the title for the ninth season in a row, while Rangers have finished second this campaign.

Lennon has said that he plans to make sure that Celtic win the title next season as well, and has admitted that he has been trying to get it off his chest for a while.

The Scottish Sun quotes Lennon as saying: “I can now safely say we can go for the ten. I’ve been sitting on that for quite a while and been thinking about it all during the season.”

Celtic will be favourites

Rangers could make a few good signings in the summer transfer window despite the economic uncertainty in the game caused by the global health crisis.

However, Celtic remain the strongest team in Scotland, and if the Hoops are able to hold onto their best players, then they will be favourites – yet again – for the title next season.
