Scott Allan played on loan for Hibernian from Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic during the second half of the season.

Allan spent the second half of this season on loan at Hibernian from Scottish Premiership rivals Celtic.
Hibs boss Lennon has said that he wants the 26-year-old midfielder back at Easter Road next season, but he has admitted that the Hoops could ask for more than they can afford in transfer fees.

Lennon told The Scottish Sun: “In terms of Scott, that’s complicated because he is Celtic’s player and I think Brendan Rodgers has intimated they may want to move him on. I am sure there will be a hefty fee involved.”

Permanent move ideal?
Allan has struggled to make an impact at Celtic, and it is hard to see the midfielder play regularly for Brendan Rodgers’s side anytime soon.
It would make sense for the 26-year-old to remain at Hibernian on a permanent contract.
Celtic should try to strike a deal with Hibs, as they could get some decent transfer fee for the former West Bromwich Albion prospect.
The 26-year-old scored three goals in 12 starts for Hibernian this season since his loan switch from Celtic in January, according to The Scottish Sun.
