Celtic have gone 63 domestic games unbeaten since Brendan Rodgers took charge.

Tony Cascarino suggested that Celtic’s unbeaten run shouldn’t be celebrated too heavily, due to the poor standard of opponent that they have come up against.
However, Lennon has defended Brendan Rodgers’ side, and has suggested that they deserve all the plaudits they have been getting.

“I totally disagree,” Lennon said. “At any level, going 63 games unbeaten has to be admired. There is a gulf between Celtic and the rest, but you’re talking about 63 games, where one mistake could stop them.
“They’re also playing good football. They’re quick and slick. I’m disappointed with him and I think Scottish football is trying to re-invent himself again. It’s going to take Rangers a few years, but they’re working on it.”
Lennon has been one of the managers who has unsuccessfully tried to topple Celtic, with his Hibernian side.

Celtic have simply brushed aside all challengers since Rodgers took charge, and their unbeaten record could yet be extended.
Celtic won the domestic treble last season, and look on course to do so again this year.
Celtic are currently three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, with Aberdeen currently their nearest rivals.
Celtic are next in action after the international break, when they take on Ross County.
